One of the things I didn't expect was the number of dogs in Kathmandu.
They are everywhere.
And there are so many.
They roam freely.
They adopt stores and shops. They sleep on the stoops, wander, and then come back.
They adopt temples and stupas, and sleep on temple steps and town square pathways.
They sleep anywhere. Wherever. Whenever.
Kid you not.
In the middle of a walkway. Curled up. Not bothered in the least by cars or foot traffic.
